In 2012, TMKI Machine Parts (P) Ltd. was established as a Joint Venture (JV) between MANU & Japanese companies – TOHO Industrial Co., Ltd and KOHMEI Co., Ltd. to manufacture plastic bearing parts. The company is TS/ISO 16949:2000 certified and is going by leaps & bounds year by year.

TOHO is a manufacturer of bearing parts, which are often called the “rice of industry”. Developing its own unique technologies, constantly improving the manufacturing process and environment, every day TOHO strives to make the products with more efficiency and care. Whilst not restricting their business to the Japanese market, TOHO has developed strong ties with Asian and European partners in order to be a flexible business partner in the era of globalization.

Manu Yantralaya (P) Ltd. was established in 1988 for initially manufacturing gasket for spark plugs at Jaipur. In 1989, MANU started manufacturing semi-finished Ball Bearing Cages for NEI & within a span of two years, they were manufacturing finished Ball Bearing Cages for NEI. Soon they started manufacturing “Turned Races” of ball bearing for FAG and NEI. The year was 1993.

They then developed Ball Bearing Dust Shield and started supplying them to FAG. In 1998, transfer lines from Japan for production of Ball Bearing Cages and pre-riveted cages were set up. Apart from supplying to major bearing companies such as SKF, FAG, NBC, NSK, NACHI, TATA, NRB, SKF Sealing Solutions, INA, etc., they are also exporting bearing parts and auto parts to global players across the world.

Since their foundation in 1965, KOHMEI have been contributing to the growth of wide range of industries such as automobile, precision machine, electric/electronics equipments through the development and production of engineering plastic. The engineering plastic invented from polymer technology has not only special characteristics which are equal to the metal in terms of heat resistance, strength, wear and abrasion resistance, but also has been paid special attention as an advanced material which realizes super precise field of submicron.
